La Raíz del Aire brings together 164 photographs made in Costa Rica and short texts. The book was born from a question before the journey and is dedicated to Eliana and Emma.

New York Photography Awards published an interview about my journey, the relationship between photography and technology, and a working method based on observing for longer before making an image.

In 2025 I completed the Art Curator Course taught by Mombó Art Gallery. The programme comprised 30 hours, five modules and a final project.

Ladera Sur
Ladera Sur published an article about Beyond Time, an exhibition of 22 large-format photographs created from my journey to Antarctica. Curated by Manolo Huerta, the show opened the month of photography at Espacio en Tránsito gallery.

Snow in the Wind
In 2020 I received an Honourable Mention in the prestigious Spanish MontPhoto competition for my photograph Snow in the Wind.
Location: Volcán Nevados de Sollipulli, La Araucanía, Chile.
We were descending from the summit of Nevados de Sollipulli, a volcano whose five-kilometre-wide crater contains a vast glacier. It was a clear but bitterly cold winter day. As we crossed this slope, a powerful wind lifted loose snow from the previous day’s storm. We stopped and I took out my camera. The moment, the view and the incline created an immense sense of emotion and tranquillity.

National Geographic Spain and Portugal
One of my photographs was published in National Geographic Spain’s feature The First Voyage Around the World, marking the start of commemorations for the 500th anniversary of the Magellan–Elcano expedition. The image also appeared in the Portuguese edition.
Two further photographs were included in National Geographic Spain’s 2020 diary, Explorer Spirit — The First Voyage Around the World.

Vinos Patagonia
Three GVivanco photographs were incorporated into Vinos Patagonia’s Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon labels.
A project in which landscape photography becomes part of the visual identity of each label.
